ABOUT JACANA

Jacana Contemporary has been providing metro-Vancouver with innovative and compelling artwork since 2000. We proudly carry a range of artists, both international and Canadian working in varied media from painting and sculpture to photo-based work. Though Jacana’s artist repertoire features mainly internationally established artists, we also encourage emerging and experimental artists.

Located on Gallery-Row in the South Granville (Granville and Broadway) neighbourhood, Jacana is a member of a vibrant fine arts community in Vancouver and exhibits a balance of modern landscape, conceptual, abstract and realist work.

The ever evolving collection of work from Jacana Gallery offers a distinctive range of contemporary art and photography for the astute collector. Whether you are developing your corporate image, beginning a private collection, or catering to your clients’ needs through interior design, Jacana provides the means to elevate your space to a new level.

VENUE RENTAL

Our 1100 sq foot exhibition space may be rented for private functions. If you wish to celebrate a special event by holding a private cocktail party in a beautiful gallery setting, please don't hesitate to contact us for more details. Approximate capacity: 50 seated, 85 standing.

HOME STAGING

Branding the image of your real estate, restaurant or office is as much Jacana’s mandate as it is yours. Along with some of the most aspiring artists from Canada and abroad, we aim to revision your space in inspiring and innovative ways.

Artwork is available for rental or through installation payments for the staging of your estate to potential buyers. An astutely designed space with elegant artwork has proven to significantly increase the appeal and retail value of a home or office.
